We believe BAPTISM is an important action of obedience for a Christian. It signifies a person's identification with Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Baptism is not necessary for SALVATION. It is an outward manifestation of an inward reality of FAITH in the sacrafice of Jesus Christ, of conversion, and of identification with the body of Christ. The act of water baptism does not save anyone. We are made right before God by faith--not by faith and baptism. (Matt 28:19-20; John 3:22; Rom 3:28-30; 4:3; 5; 5:1; Gal 2:16, 21; Eph 2:8-9; Phi; 3:9; Acts 8:35-38, 10:44-48)

Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?

Therefore, we are buried with him by baptism into death;

that like Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in the newness of life.
